How do I activate a user who is awaiting e-mail activation?

Describes how you can manually activate a user account which is awaiting e-mail verification.

Should you have a user who has registered an account in a group which requires e-mail verification but has not activated their account, the account can be activated manually by the board administrator or a moderator authorized to edit the group.

  1. Log in to the administration program, go to User Manager, and choose the group in which the user exists.

  2. Click the suspend icon next to the user account you wish to activate manually. This is the icon with the red circle in the "Sus" column.

  3. Check to highlight the radio button next to the "Not suspended (fully enabled)" option. Then scroll down and click the "Save Settings" button.

After completing this procedure, the user account is fully activated for use on the board with no e-mail verification needed. Note that should you have multiple users to activate manually, you may mark multiple accounts and then click the suspend icon in the bottom row of the table.
