Not all browsers support the <blink> HTML tag. Recent versions of Netscape do support this tag. Internet Explorer does not support this tag. Since many find blinking text to be annoying, some consider this to be a feature of IE.

If the words "blinking text" above are blinking, you are probably using Netscape and your browser supports the <blink> HTML tag. If it's not blinking, you probably are using Internet Explorer.

Since this is an issue of whether browsers support a specific HTML tag, there is nothing that DiscusWare (or anyone else except Microsoft) can do to make blinking text work for those people who choose Internet Explorer as their browser.
