The Discus software is generally registered when you first install Discus, immediately after you specify the board administrator's password. When registering, you have the option to join the Discus Mailing List, which will inform you of major updates to the product as well as any other urgent communication that DiscusWare distributes to its customers.

Your Discus registration is used to tabulate statistics on the use of Discus and Discus Professional. Your board's URL, gathered during registration, is also used for any support requests that you make about your installed board. Your information is not published or sold in any other way.
