Obtaining and Installing

The Windows version of the Net::SMTP module is available as part of libnet. To install this onto a Windows NT server, you must be the server administrator and be logged in at the server. These are the instructions for installation. Please read this document for more details if you have problems with this procedure.

Start a DOS session and enter the bold commands:

C:\Windows> cd c:\perl\bin
C:\Perl\Bin> ppm
PPM version ...........
PPM> set repository ActiveState http://www.activestate.com/packages
PPM> install libnet

Follow on-screen instructions to install libnet on your system. When finished, type "exit" at the prompt and then close the DOS shell.

Support

libnet and Net::SMTP are third-party software and are thus not supported by DiscusWare.
