Is there a way to set the priviliges in the following way: There is a Moderator of group A There is another private group B Group B is only readable for members of group B If I click the checkbox for group B in the moderator manager then I will give the moderator of group A moderator priviliges of group B I found only one way to solve the problem: One user name x and password Y for group B and one moderator name x and password Y of group B. But then the user has to change two profiles Is there a better way to solve the problem |

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do. If you want to give the moderator reading/posting privileges in a particular topic without giving administrative privileges, you can use the Access Manager, which allows you to select particular moderators that will have reading or posting privileges in a topic. |

There is a second problem. You know that I tried to solve the problem with two accounts. It is possible to create an moderator account Moderatorname: test Password: PWtest and an second user account with the same username and the same password username test Password PWtest. The moderator too will delete or suspend if somebody delete or suspend the user. Retyping the Moderator password will solve the problem. Perhaps you should deny the same name for moderator and user |

Discus will not allow you to self-register a username that is already taken by a moderator. However, since moderators themselves are never suspended, I will look into the problem you've reported to be sure that suspending a user with the same username and password will not result in the moderator being suspended when attempting to log in. |

It was a admin created user, but the moderator was also after suspending the user. I enabled the user again, the moderator was enabled too. I deleted the user the moderator was suspendet, not deleted. I changed the password to the same password as before and the moderator was enabled.
