Access Policy - Last Revised 07/20/2006

This document contains the access policy for the Collaborative Spam Signature System, for which a client is included in Discus Professional 4.10.

During the beta testing period of Discus 4.10, the Collaborative Spam Signature System is presently available to all Discus Professional licensees whose licenses are authorized for version 4.10 or higher, or who hold a support contract that is currently valid. Notably, this includes everyone who legally possesses the software needed to register on, connect to, and use the system.

This access policy is subject to change at any time without notice, and may likely be changed when the beta testing for Discus Professional 4.10 has been concluded. DiscusWare is presently evaluating several options, which include but are not limited to:

Offering access to the Collaborative Spam Signature System as a free service to any Discus Professional licensee whose use of the software complies with the software license agreement (i.e., extending the current policy).
Limiting access to the Collaborative Spam Signature System to Discus Professional licensees whose licenses are under support (either the year of free support provided after purchase, or support via a technical support contract).
Offering access to the Collaborative Spam Signature System as a premium service with an annual, monthly, or per-message charge.

It is notable that the limited warranty and technical support provided with Discus Professional cover the client aspect of the Collaborative Spam Signature System. While DiscusWare will make all efforts to maximize uptime, performance, and reliability of the server aspect of this system, the server aspect is currently without any warranty, express or implied, unless otherwise agreed in writing by DiscusWare, LLC. Nothing in this documentation shall be construed as to provide any customer with a guarantee of continued access to the Collaborative Spam Signature System, and any such guarantee shall be void unless agreed to in writing by the customer and DiscusWare, LLC.
