These options are set from the Other tab of the Options
Manager interface.
The following options control behavior and logging of activity within the administration program.
-
Administration: Display moderator login history: If checked, when a moderator logs in, they will be shown the time and IP address of their
most recent successful login and also the time and IP address of any failed logins. This is a good way to catch compromised moderator accounts and
should generally be enabled.
-
Administration: Display version message in main menu: If checked, the currently used Discus version will be displayed at the bottom of the
administration main menu frame.
-
Administration: Log actions of board moderators: If checked, Discus will keep a comprehensive log of all accesses to the administration
program and all activities performed. The log file created by this option has the potential to get very large. As Discus does not currently contain
tools to analyze this log, unless you intend to look through the log yourself, you should save yourself a substantial amount of disk space by
not enabling this option.
