Any Platform - Automatic Update: Discus 4.1 has, built-in, a capability to
update itself from the DiscusWare web server. The link here is to the administration instructions for Version Manager, which contain
full instructions to perform this update.

Any Platform - FTP Upgrade Instructions: You have only FTP access to your server and you want to
upgrade your Discus or Discus Professional board (most common situation for customers of virtual website hosting). This procedure can be used to
go from Discus 4.0 to Discus 4.1; customers already running Discus 4.1 now should use the automatic upgrade instead.

Unix - Telnet/SSH Upgrade Instructions: You have telnet, SSH, or console access to your server,
and your server is running unix (linux, Solaris, irix, etc.), and you are upgrading your properly functioning discussion board to version 4.1.
This procedure can be used to
go from Discus 4.0 to Discus 4.1; customers already running Discus 4.1 now should use the automatic upgrade instead.

Windows - Console Upgrade Instructions: You use a Windows machine as your web server, and you
have the ability to sit down in front of that machine to type and run programs, and you want to upgrade your board. This is generally the case if you
run your own server (e.g., your intranet's web server). This is almost never the case if your web site is hosted remotely.
